Hi James, and thanks for passing along his email address.

We do prefer people snail mail hard copy. The reason for this is that MLA’s are required to view each piece of snail mail addressed to themselves. Emails, on the other hand, can be read, counted, and summarized by whatever Communications staff they have hired to do the job.

Because Blair is a biker, we believe it will speak much more personally and powerfully if letters are written, stamped and snail mailed.

Definitely do both. If you’re going to do just one thing, we urge you to write.

“Can you hear me now?!”. Honorable Minister you bet get your reading glasses out and if you don’t need to wear glasses you might after you get all the letters coming your way.

Britt you pretty much hit the nail on the head with this. I actually don’t like being called a biker and all that conjures up. I am a motorcyclist and I go to great lengths to be geared up and a well trained motorcyclist. I take pride in the fact that I ride and even learning in my late 40′s. I am also not one of those who buys into the ‘mystique’ or ‘image’ of certain motorcycle brands. It’s not what you ride, but how you ride it.
